動体追跡法は、日本が世界に先駆けて実現してきた治療法であり、多くの実績を有する。本稿では、最新の迎撃照射型動体追跡装置として、島津製作所からリリースされたX線治療用動体追跡装置「SyncTraX」、日立製作所からリリースされた動体追跡陽子線スポットスキャニングシステム「PROBEAT-RT」について、その特徴と利点を紹介する。
Real-time tumor-tracking radiotherapy has been developed in Japan. Many important researches and clinical results have been published from Japan. In this article, we introduce two gated-irradiation systems that have been released in recent years. The first one is SyncTraX that was released from SHIMADZU for photon therapy. The second one is PROBEAT-RT that was released from HITACHI for spot scanned proton beam therapy. The main specs and advantages of these systems are described.
