Pinnacle Blue 27はマイクロバルーンでありながら広い内腔を有する。そのため、細径non-taper型マイクロカテーテルと組み合わせて使用でき、balloon-anchoring techniqueを併用することで、蛇行屈曲血管の克服が可能であり、高い遠位到達性を有する。特に径の大きいバルーンを必要とする門脈系IVRに有用である。
Pinnacle Blue 27 is a micro-balloon catheter with large internal diameter which enable a coaxial 1.9 Fr non-taper microcatheter usage in it. Using balloon-anchoring technique and a 1.9 Fr coaxial catheter, Pinnacle Blue 27 can be delivered to more distal vessel and overcome tortuous vascular anatomy. Pinnacle Blue 27 also has a large balloon diameter and is especially useful in interventional therapy for the portal venous system which sometimes require a large size balloon.
